Campaign Overview
Premise
The year is 2019. Around March 11, a meteor fragment struck a remote region. Initially dismissed as routine, the impact site revealed environmental anomalies — power disruptions, unexplained heat signatures — and within days, individuals who came into contact with fragments began displaying superhuman abilities: rapid healing, increased strength, heightened sensory perception.
The world’s governments are scrambling to respond. Voss Dynamics, led by CEO Adrian Voss, has secured a major federal contract to investigate the meteor. Known for advanced energy systems and experimental technologies, Voss Dynamics is now developing technology and tactics to allow conventional forces to compete with fragment-empowered individuals. NASA failed to detect the object before impact, citing its “small size and unusual trajectory.”
NATO nations have assigned their most elite special operations personnel — Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, SAS, KSK, and other tier-one operators — to Voss Dynamics for this purpose.
You do NOT have a fragment. You are the sharp end of the spear — highly trained, well-equipped, but fundamentally human.

Chapters
- [Chapter 1 - The Hungry God](…/chapters/Chapter 1 - The Hungry God/chapter-1-overview.html) — Sessions 01–09 (complete): what begins as the capture of a single self-detonating “living bomb” in Afghanistan becomes the story of a cosmic world-eater, The Hungry God, that harvests powered planets. The Voss Combat Suit program and the Terra portal; Vegas R&R; the Second Meteor Event fragment recovery (Greenland to Russia, the Fragment Bear) and the North Atlantic deep-sea retrieval; the Terran Insectoid swarm at Medieval Times; the Los Angeles Zombie Outbreak and the Regenerator’s plague; the destruction of the Vegas hive; and the finale at the RD3 facility, where the team unwinds time (The Timeline Rewind) to destroy the entity at its origin on Terra (The Sacrifice on Terra) before it can ever reach Earth. Canon ruling: past preserved, future changed.

Known Fragment-Empowered Individuals
- The Exploding Man — Self-detonation, tough skin, gas resistance. Captured in Session 01; held by Voss. Likely source of the extracted Power Juice.
- The Dragon — Flight, invulnerability, super strength, fire-breathing. State Farm–sponsored public hero. Subdued Mayhem in LA; brought the Regenerator and Patient Zero to the team. Now moving freely at Voss Campus.
- The Regenerator — Extraordinary healing. Caused the zombie plague by trying to resurrect his dead wife Jane Garcetti (Patient Zero). Now at Voss Campus, seeking a fragment cure.
- Patient Zero — The reanimated Jane Garcetti; feral undead, source of the zombie plague. Contained at Voss Campus.
- Mayhem — Probability manipulation / cascading bad luck. Captured by The Dragon in LA.
- Brittany — Self-duplication (8+ clones). Voss operative on Jenkins’ team.
- Tan Jiang — Chinese scientist, suspected powered individual. Found captive in the Vegas hive; escaped without a trace. At large.
PC note: The PCs began with no fragments. As of Session 07, Sammy is the first operator to receive transferable Power Juice (size-alteration); Voss intends to spread power across the team to meet the incoming entity. Ronnie manifested an involuntary energy-drain ability (Session 04) and Jens can open portals via a personal fragment.
