The strike team located and destroyed the Terran Insectoid hive beneath the Nevada desert, ending the Vegas infestation. Supported by the S.C. Johnson Scientists, they developed an insecticide, sealed the surface tunnels, drilled into The Queen’s Chamber, and killed the 30-foot Hive Queen with gas and napalm. Drone footage revealed a human captive who vanished without a trace.
Details
The mission was carried out during [Session 07 - The Vegas Hive - Napalm and New Powers](…/chapters/Chapter 1 - The Hungry God/Sessions/session-07-the-vegas-hive-napalm-and-new-powers.html). The strike team — Sammy leading, with Ronnie, Brittany, Jenkins, Thompson, and six security troops — was supported by the S.C. Johnson Scientists at the Nevada Desert (Hole Site).
The team captured 7 live bugs, which the scientists used to develop the Concoction BA insecticide; one scientist died in a chemical accident during development. They gassed and sealed all 30 desert tunnel entrances. A surface swarm of roughly 20 bugs was beaten off during the operation — Jenkins scored a point-blank leap-crit that killed three at once.
The team then drilled 80 meters down into The Queen’s Chamber, gassed it, and napalmed it with Napalm Barrels, killing the 30-foot Hive Queen. The kill was confirmed with explosive drones.
Drone footage revealed a human captive in the hive who vanished without leaving a body. Ronnie later identified the captive (via Silhouette Software) as Chinese scientist Tan Jiang, presumed to have escaped through portal technology that Xander sold to China.
