Summary

The Queen’s Chamber is a massive cavern roughly 80 meters below the Nevada desert near Las Vegas — the deepest level of the Terran Insectoid hive beneath the Nevada Desert (Hole Site). It housed the colony’s 30-foot Hive Queen, thousands of eggs, and the human captive Tan Jiang. It was destroyed in Session 07.

Description

The chamber is a vast underground space lined with newly constructed organic walls — a pale, wasp-nest-like secretion the colony had recently grown. Thousands of eggs blanket the floor. At its heart rises a central pillar of hive material, to which the human captive Tan Jiang was restrained and around which three massive insects stood guard. The 30-foot Hive Queen dominated the chamber, attended by soldier bugs and a newly observed horned warrior variant. The team reached the chamber only by sinking an 80-meter industrial drill shaft down through the earth above it.

Security & Access

Accessible solely via the 80m drill shaft bored from the surface. Defended by the Hive Queen, soldier bugs, horned warrior-variant insects, and three guards around the central pillar. After the assault, the chamber was saturated with insecticide and burning napalm and is now toxic and collapsed.
