Dr. Elaine Porter Stub

Summary

A researcher who has appeared in two separate press articles. First quoted in The National Daily as a biophysics researcher commenting on the meteor’s biological effects. Later quoted in the Chicago Tribune as a psychologist discussing the emotional toll on meta-humans after Jane Garcetti’s death.

The field discrepancy (biophysics vs. psychology) is notable. Either she holds credentials in both fields, the articles misidentified her specialty, or there are two Dr. Elaine Porters — though the latter seems unlikely given the niche subject matter.

Needs

• Institutional affiliation (university? government lab? Voss Dynamics?)
• Whether she has direct access to fragments
• Clarification on biophysics vs. psychology — dual expertise or error?
• Whether she becomes an ally, enemy, or resource for the PCs
• Her connection to meta-human research seems deep — she’s been quoted in both the earliest and latest press coverage

Appearances

• National Daily - 2019-03-18 - Mystery Meteor — quoted as biophysics researcher
